26th edition Earth Sciences Metting

Organized since 1973 by the Société Géologique de France, the “Réunion des Sciences de la Terre” (Earth Sciences Meeting) is the national congress covering all geosciences items.

This biennial event brings together the professionals of the industrial, teaching and research worlds. This is a unique opportunity to convey the results of the latest studies, present the main lines of development and communicate know-how and innovation.

Professionals in the sector can also meet specialists in the different fields of geosciences, create a dynamic exchange, contact future partners and communicate on the trades and careers of the Earth sciences. An important point is the presence of many young students from Masters to PhD which allow them to meet the professionals of Geology.

Lille Grand Palais will host this 26th edition from 22 to 26 October 2018.

Lille Grand Palais

Call for session is now over. Thanks for those who proposed one (or more) session(s). You can now discover the great themes that have been selected to make a great RST 2018.

Registration

Calls for communications and registrations are now opened for early birds (and other).

Submit
We would be glad if the RST could serve as an incubator for original papers. Session leaders are welcome to encourage the session participants to submit original manuscripts. Session leaders are the best placed to select the most suitable journal, but you may know that the “Société Géologique de France” (SGF) offers the possibility to publish special issues in its “Bulletin”. Up to 6 special issues can be published yearly in its new format (Open access on the www.bsgf.fr). Session leaders can contact the Editor or the SGF direction for further instructions.

To take benefit from the RST dynamics, it is desirable that articles are quickly prepared after the congress. It is thus useful to anticipate a manuscript collect. Participants can also take the initiative and contact directly the session leader, now that the call for communications is opened.
